A nite before the wedding.

The wedding was on November 6,2010.It was my niece's wedding.The bride is from makasar and the bridegroom is from Tegal.A nite before the wedding, there is ritual held in the bride's house.The ritual is called"seserahan".In this occasion, a bridegroom and the family came to the bride's house.They also brought some gifts,foods and fruits for the bride and the family.
The bride and the family served some food and various kinds of cakes served on the beautifully decorated plates from makasar.
I tried one of the dessert.The dessert is made of banana,,egg and coconut milk.It is wrapped in banana leaf.It is creamy,soft and sweet.The dessert is called babongko.
